Consigning your wedding or prom dress with The Glass Slipper is a safe and easy way to resell or rent your dress.
Selling or renting your wedding dress is an act of generosity that frees up closet space and helps recoup some of your money! If you’re ready to consign with us, make an appointment to get started! If you have any questions about the consignment process or are unsure if your dress is something we will be able to accept into our inventory, please schedule a free 15-minute consignment appointment in our Rexburg, ID store or online.
Qualify your dress

3 years old or newer?

Dry cleaned? (unless new with tags)

In ready-to-wear condition? (no damage or stains)

We cannot accept gowns hemmed shorter than 5’3”. This means, we cannot consign your gown if you are shorter than 5’3” when you wore the gown, with your shoes on.
Please understand that bridal styles change constantly, and while a gown may meet our criteria, it might not be something we can resell.
Make an appointment
If your dress meets our criteria, schedule a free 15-minute consignment
appointment online. Appointments are in our store or via Zoom. We inspect your dress, discuss pricing, set a timeframe and fill out a short contract. If your dress is accepted and you do not live in or near Rexburg, ID, we will ask you to ship it to our store.

During the appointment, we’ll give you honest advice on how much we think your dress is likely to sell for. The year, size, condition, retail price and style are all factored into the agreed upon price.
Sell or rent you dress
Once your dress sells or is rented, you’ll receive payment for a portion of the final price. Checks are processed and issued around the 15th the following month of the sale.

While we find homes for most of our gowns, if we reach the end of the contract and haven’t found it a home yet, we’ll contact you to extend the contract or make arrangements for you to pick it up
